If you’re currently cutting soft materials manually or relying on another provider, contact us for a quote on custom die cutting. We specialize in processing a wide range of materials including foam, rubber, adhesives, and thermal insulation materials. Let us help streamline your production with tailored die-cutting solutions that improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Custom Die Cutting Services
We offer custom die-cutting services for a wide variety of applications across multiple industries, including packaging, automotive, electronics, and more. Whether you need simple geometric shapes like circles and squares or more complex designs, we can meet your requirements. Our die-cut solutions help make assembly quicker and easier, reducing the need for manual cutting and improving consistency in your production process.
Benefits of Die Cutting
By automating the die-cutting process, we eliminate the need for manual cutting or makeshift in-house machines, which leads to significant savings in both labor and material waste. Here’s how die cutting with us can benefit you:
- Precision and Consistency: Our die-cutting equipment ensures perfect cuts for every piece, no matter how complex the design.
- Labor and Cost Savings: Automation reduces the need for manual labor and minimizes waste, translating to cost efficiency. One of our customers estimated savings of over $200,000 annually after switching to our die-cutting services.
- Faster Production: Our automated inventory management and reordering system ensure minimal lead times for your orders.
- Reduced Waste: Optimizing material usage helps you save on overall material costs while reducing waste.
Die Cutting Process
Our die-cutting process is highly customizable, and we use advanced techniques to meet your project’s unique requirements. Here’s how it works:
- Creating the Die: We create a steel shape, called a die, which is then used to cut through the material like a cookie cutter.
- Cutting Options: We offer several levels of die cutting to suit different needs.
- Level 1: Cuts through all layers of the material, producing individual pieces.
- Level 2: Cuts through the top layer and adhesive but leaves the bottom liner intact, keeping the pieces on one sheet for easier handling.
- Level 3: Offers selective cutting through different layers, enabling easier liner removal for end-users.
- Level 4: Perforates the top liner but does not fully cut through it.
- Embossing: We can also create custom impressions (embossing) on a roll without fully cutting through the material.
- Once we have the necessary materials in stock, the die-cutting process is quick, with orders completed in as little as 5 business days. For repeat orders, we also offer to stock your inventory for faster turnaround times.
Materials We Die Cut
We specialize in die-cutting a wide range of soft materials used in various industries, including:
- Adhesive Products: Die cutting for foam pads, silicone tapes, conductive tapes, double-sided tapes (such as 3M, Sony), used in electronics, automotive, and IT applications.
- Dustproof Materials: Processing materials like non-woven fabrics, filtering cotton, camera foam, and high-density sponges for anti-dust solutions.
- Shock Absorption Materials: Custom die-cutting of rubber pads, PORON foam, EVA, and flame-retardant materials for vibration absorption and cushioning.
- Insulation Materials: Cutting materials such as PVC, PET, copper and aluminum foils, and other insulating tapes for EMI shielding and electrical insulation.
- Thermal Insulation Materials: Processing heat-resistant materials like silicone sheets, mica sheets, and fiberglass fabrics for thermal management applications.
- Packaging Solutions: Die cutting for corrugated paper, cardboard, and packaging materials for various industries.
We can also develop customized solutions for your specific project needs, such as combining multiple materials into a single tape for unique applications.
Featured Die Cutting Project
One of our clients in the electronics sector required precision-cut adhesive pads for assembling backlight screens. By switching to our die-cut pre-cut sheets, they were able to significantly reduce their assembly time and waste, leading to an estimated annual savings of over $150,000. Additionally, we developed a custom solution that involved laminating magnetic adhesive materials to improve the efficiency of their production line.
